Timing: Heat will persist into Tuesday and Wednesday before a Cold Front lowers readings.

Temperature: Temperatures in the Mid 90’s to near 105 combined with Dew Points in the Mid to Upper 60’s will create Heat Index readings near 110.

Impacts: Hot Temperatures combined with High Humidity will create a dangerous to life threatening situation, both day and night, in which heat illnesses are likely if precautions are not taken especially if no cooling system is present. This prolonged event will accumulate overtime. Extreme Caution should be taken if outdoors during this alert.

Burn Ban Forecast: More burn bans are expected this week. No expiration for these bans are known at this time.
