The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow, which is in effect from 1 PM Tuesday to 3 AM CST Wednesday.

Snow will develop early tuesday afternoon with some of the heaviest snow likely from about 200 PM CST through 700 PM CST. This will likely cause some slippery driving conditions from the afternoon return home from school and work. Be prepared for a slower commute home Tuesday evening, especially since this is the first snowfall of the season.
