State Boys Basketball Forecast – Day 4

In Forecasts, Special Events, Weather by Henry LukerLeave a Comment

As hit past the mid-point of the playoffs tourney, we would like to extend a congratulations to Iowa City West, North Scott, Des Moines Hoover, and Pleasant Valley for advancing to the semifinals! Speaking of the semifinals, semifinalists in class 1A, class 2A, and class 3A will be competing today for a chance to go to the state championships. Today will be the peak of the warm temperatures across the state with sunny skies and temperatures in the 70s. Winds will be a bit higher than usual with 5-15 MPH winds with gusts to 25 MPH at times. That is really the only concern to speak of, besides the fact that temperatures should begin moderating just a little bit. 50s will return by next week when some Iowa schools will be having their spring break.

Good luck to all of the teams competing today!
