Great Weather for First Day of Tree Town

You could not ask for much better weather for the first day of Tree Town, and in all honesty, the forecast through the weekend looks absolutely beautiful. The weather over Heritage Park today will be predominated by patchy fog early before clearing to mostly sunny skies. The high today is expected to reach 71, which notably is above the 66 degree average for Forest City. Winds will be out of the southeast at 5-10 MPH for the most part (10-15 in afternoon) with temperatures dropping to the 60s by evening. Hit-and-miss shower chances do exist late into the night (primarily after 7:00 p.m.), however these are not huge chances and won’t be big rain producers.

The remainder of Tree Town will see low-to-mid 70s for highs with generally partly cloudy skies. We are monitoring some rain chances throughout, especially on Sunday, but we are not especially concerned with these at this time.
