Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Southeast Iowa through 11:00 p.m.

The Storm Prediction Center has issued Severe Thunderstorm Watch #63 for portions of southeast Iowa, northern Illinois, far northeast Missouri, and Lake Michigan until 11:00 p.m. this evening.

Primary threats include:

  • Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 MPH possible
  • Isolated large hail events to 1.5″ in diameter possible

Summary: Isolated severe storms may develop this evening along and south of a slow-moving cold front. Hail and wind are the primary hazards.
