The Des Moines Register is reporting seven dead and at least 10 injured this evening as a result of the winter weather that produced over eight inches of snow in some areas.
Moderate-to-heavy snowfall fell over much of the state on Monday, February 5, 2018, with almost ten inches reported in Fredonia.
A blizzard impacted much of northwestern Iowa on Monday, January 22, 2018, causing whiteout conditions throughout the area with some sites measuring over a foot of snow, while southeastern Iowa saw an inch or two of rain.
