A blizzard impacted much of northwestern Iowa on Monday, January 22, 2018, causing whiteout conditions throughout the area with some sites measuring over a foot of snow, while southeastern Iowa saw an inch or two of rain. Spirit Lake led out the list at 14.4″, followed by Primghar and Ringsted at 14″, Sioux City at 13.8″, and Sergeant Bluff at 11″.
